Moose Hunting

Wildlife Management Unit 15A is believed to have the largest moose population of any WMU in Ontario. Our resorts are located in the center of WMU 15A. It is not easy to hunt this majestic animal because you need a lot of patience, plus you'll be walking and standing a lot. In the end, it is all worth a chance at getting an adult moose that might stand 7' at the shoulder with the body being about 7' long and 3-4 feet deep. A mature bull will weigh 1200 to 1600 pounds and have a huge rack.

We have made many of our roads in our moose management area more accessible for vehicles by grading them.

We sell our moose hunts as unguided, but we will give each hunter as much assistance as possible.

Non-residents must be 16 years of age or older to be eligible for an Ontario Outdoors Card and license to hunt. Every hunter must provide a hunting license from your state in order to purchase a hunting license in Canada. Licenses must be purchased before arriving at the resort.

Endys/Bush and Paint Lake Resort has two Wildlife Managements Units. We have archery tags in 19 and gun tags in 21A.
